Actors Fund Home, an assisted living, skilled nursing, accredited dementia care and sub-acute rehabilitation center located in Englewood, NJ, and a recipient of a CMS Five Star Rating is seeking Full Time or Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurses to provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN to our residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistants.
Job duties
Ensures that all residents are assessed and evaluated as per policy and procedure throughout their stay by reviewing resident's plan of care.
Coordinates nursing services to ensure that the resident’s total regimen of care is maintained.
Prepares and administers medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with current federal, state and local standards.
Ensures that an adequate supply of floor stock medications, medical supplies and equipment is on hand to meet nursing needs of the residents.
Administers professional services such treatments of catheterization, tube feedings, suction, applying and changing dressings/ bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, etc. as required.
Completes and files required records/forms/charts upon the resident’s admission and residence.
Reports and investigates all allegations of resident abuse and or misappropriation of resident property.
This is an hourly position offering a range between $34/HR - $37/HR in The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ. The current shift demands are inclusive of 7am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, & 11pm-7:30am and scheduling needs are flexible between every weekend or every other weekend.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with an active New Jersey LPN license. A minimum of one year of experience as an LPN is required.
