MRI Technologist (Full-Time) Location: American Health Imaging 3T at Brookwood 509 Brookwood Blvd.

Birmingham, AL 35209 Schedule: Wednesday–Friday 7am to 7pm (Three 12-hour shifts per week + No weekends!) Lumexa Imaging is seeking an ARRT registered MRI Technologist to join our team full-time at our American Health Imaging 3T at Brookwood outpatient imaging center.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI professional who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while producing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative outpatient environment.

What You'll Do Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.

Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.

Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and quality care.

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required. Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred. Current CPR certification required. IV certification/skills required. Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles. What We're Looking For Excellent patient care and customer service skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Organized with effective time management skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a flexible approach to patient care. Physical Requirements Assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning patients safely. Help patients on and off the MRI table and into wheelchairs as needed. Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday while performing patient care duties.

Requirements
