PRN Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases of endoscopy. Support physicians in the procedural suite while ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and efficient room turnover.
Clayton Endoscopy Center is seeking a PRN Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking for flexible, as‑needed scheduling in a focused outpatient procedural setting.
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the PRN RN delivers professional, direct patient care throughout the endoscopy process. The nurse utilizes the nursing process to assess patients, develop and implement individualized plans of care, monitor outcomes, and adjust care as needed to ensure optimal patient safety and satisfaction.
Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Prior experience in endoscopy, GI, or perioperative nursing is preferred, along with ACLS certification.
Market context
North Carolina nursing jobs often reflect steady demand in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care settings, especially for RNs who can provide age-appropriate care across patient populations. These roles are competitive because employers typically want an approved nursing-school graduate with a current North Carolina RN or Compact License and active AHA BLS certification.
