About the Role

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker (e.g., LCSW, LMSW) in the United States.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Experience conducting client assessments and developing care plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with clinical experience.
• Experience working with diverse populations including children, elderly, or individuals with disabilities.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques.
• Proficiency in electronic case management systems and documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental needs to develop individualized care plans.
• Provide counseling and support to clients facing challenges such as mental health issues, substance abuse, family conflicts, or economic hardship.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to secure access to healthcare, housing, employment, and other essential services.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, legal professionals, educators, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay informed about relevant laws, policies, and best practices in social work.
• Facilitate support groups and community outreach programs to promote awareness and prevention.
