As our Surgical Coordinator, you will manage the administrative and clinical coordination of surgical procedures. You will guide patients through their pre-operative journey, ensuring they are medically, financially, and administratively prepared for surgery. Key Responsibilities Surgical Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule complex inpatient and outpatient surgical cases, matching surgeon availability with facility operating room blocks. Patient Liaison: Guide patients through the surgical process, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, and address patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism. Insurance & Authorization: Obtain necessary prior authorizations, medical necessity clearances, and insurance referrals from major carriers.
