The position requires the assessment of patients to include physical examination, lab and imaging interpretation. Provide procedures with high technicality when appropriate. Treat and manage patients based on current and up-to-date standards. Interact well with all staff, including mentoring and education. Write appropriate prescriptions when necessary. Provide disposition of patients in a timely manner.

Will be a voting member of our democratically based Medical Staff. Through this membership and participation, the Emergency Physician will assist in decisions made.
Will provide the highest standards of patient care.
Will provide mentoring to all staff.
Full-time physicians will work 144 hours minimum via either twelve 12 hour shifts, six 24 hour shifts per month or a combination thereof. B: Company Specific
Adheres to dress code. Appearance is neat and clean and wears appropriate identification while on duty.
Maintains confidentiality of all patient and/or employee information to assure patient and/or employee rights are protected.
Reports to work on time as scheduled; adheres to policies regarding notification of absence.
Attends all mandatory in-services and staff meetings.
Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Complies with all policies regarding ethical business practices.
Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the facility.
Consistently demonstrates guest relation’s skills to patients, physicians, visitors, employees, and any other individuals with whom they may come in contact.
Complies with relevant regulations and standards and policies governing safe workplace environment (OSHA, etc).

Qualifications
Education: MD or DO Degree.
Licenses/Certification: Full, unrestricted medical license in the State. Board certified. ACLS, PALS and ATLS certification unless ABEM.
Minimum three years’ experience in Emergency Medicine post-residency.
