Make an Impact! Working Every Other Weekend as a Staff Nurse in Neonatal ICU will offer you the experience of collaborating with an interdisciplinary team within the 14 bed unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience. As a Registered Nurse, you would be caring for a critically ill newborn

Develop and Grow Your Career! You are encouraged to attend MLH Education & Development Classes that offer a variety of relevant courses, tools, and resources to help achieve your personal and professional goals. On-going feedback and career development are provided by your Manager through the use of performance appraisals and 1:1 communication to further develop yourself professionally.

Get Involved! Become engaged by joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.

Experience

One year(s) of recent neontal nurse experience required 2 plus years neontal nursing perferred.

Education

RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications

1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact. 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required. 3. NRP

Requirements

Requires a PA RN license or compact license, BLS, and NRP certifications. Candidates must have at least one year of recent neonatal nursing experience, with a BSN preferred.
