The Operating Room Assistant supports the surgical team by handling general department cleaning and case cart preparation. They are also responsible for running errands, transporting patients, and managing room turnover.
As an Operating Room Assistant, you will function as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision of a Registered Peri-Operative Nurse. You will be responsible for assisting in general department cleaning, case cart preparation, running errands, and assisting with transporting of patients and room turnover.

Need: High School Diploma or equivalent experience Basic Life Support (BLS) Card through the American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire Previous operating room support staff role or training as a nursing assistant or other patient contact role preferred
