Provide personal care and support for daily living activities to residents in alignment with their Individualized Service Plans. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, assisting with mobility and hygiene, and maintaining a safe living environment.
We are seeking a caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our senior living community. The CNA provides personal care, support with daily living activities, and assistance to residents in alignment with their Individualized Service Plans (ISP). This role functions under the supervision of the Healthcare Coordinator.
What you’ll do
Take and record vital signs; report changes in condition to supervising nurse.
Assist residents with daily living needs including hygiene, dressing, mobility, meals, and medication reminders.
Support safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
Prepare and submit progress notes in a timely manner.
Encourage resident engagement and participation in activities.
Follow infection control, HIPAA, and community policies.
Attend required in-service trainings and staff meetings.
What we’re looking for
Active CNA certification required.
High school diploma or GED.
CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
Compassionate, professional, and able to handle emotionally charged situations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and assist with resident mobility.
Comfort using basic technology for documentation.
