The Polysomnographic Technologists supports the practice of Sleep Medicine at Mayo by performing diagnostic studies, therapeutic trials, patient education, and such other tasks that are necessary for efficient delivery of quality health care to Mayo patients. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.

Requires an Associate of Applied Science degree in a related field and certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT). Must have experience in sleep or respiratory care and a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
