Mayo Clinic Health System in New Prague, MN is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team in a part-time role. Family Practice Board Certified/Eligible physicians will also be considered given sufficient inpatient experience.
This physician will provide comprehensive care from admission to discharge for all patients referred to the service. You may expect a busy practice in a physician led financially stable organization, committed to both high-quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
Primary responsibility to our 25 Critical Access Hospital with a Transitional Care Unit in New Prague, MN. Opportunity may exist to pick up additional shifts at any of our other Minnesota Health System Hospitals.
Seven days on, seven days off with other work day patterns considered. 12-hour workdays, with onsite expectations during your shift Regional team of Hospitalists provide 24 hour, 365 coverage. Back-up assistance in ED for resuscitations/trauma red (only expected to use HIM skill set) Nocturnal Shifts only, with some opportunity to support day shifts as they become available. 161 shifts required yearly
Must have M.D., D.O., or foreign degree equivalent. Must be eligible for Minnesota medical license and Board Certification/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or in final year of ACGME accredited program leading to certification. Family Practice Board Certified/Eligible physicians will also be considered given sufficient inpatient experience.
