The Imaging Assistant supports and assists Technologists within the imaging environment following established policies. They are responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department.

Scope of work
Under direct supervision the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following the established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant patient care experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC is required upon hire.
