Rotating weekly schedule Monday through Friday with staggered start time that vary from 0530 to 1630.

Will be required to float to Summit to assist in cataract and GI procedures a few times a month.

No holiday. No weekend. No call.

Previous procedural experience (OR, Day Surgery, PACU/Pre/Post) experience is preferred

Where You Will Work

The Waukesha Ambulatory Surgery Center in Waukesha, WI, rolls up to the Aurora Summit Surgical team. The center serves patients ages 16 and older in an ambulatory surgery setting with 13 pre/post rooms, 4 ORs, and 1 GI suite. The department offers weekday-only schedules with no weekends or holidays, staggered shifts based on patient volume, and individualized orientation based on experience. The team culture is patient-centered, supportive, and collaborative.

We’re Looking For

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association or within 6 months.

Previous procedural experience(OR, Day Surgery, PACU/Pre/Post) experience is preferred.

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Candidates must be a graduate of an approved nursing program with an active RN license and BLS certification. Typically, one year of clinical nursing experience is required, while a BSN is preferred.
