As an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, the float Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide therapeutic care to patients and their families in the outpatient setting with an emphasis on administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products. The RN is also responsible to manage those patients who require acute care either prior to or instead of admitting the patient. This float position will be required to travel to various treatment centers for coverage and volume needs. The nurse will learn workflows from each location and will be able to provide support across all locations.
As an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse has in depth knowledge of the infusion clinic operation.
The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide therapeutic care to patients and their families in the outpatient setting with an emphasis on administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and more.
In addition, this position will receive and carry out orders from physicians and coordinate services with lab and other entities participating in patients' care.
The RN is also responsible to manage those patients who require acute care either prior to or instead of admitting the patient.
This position may need to travel to various treatment centers for coverage and volume needs.

Req Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
Req Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
Req ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy If no certification upon hire, one must be obtained within 90 days of meeting eligibility criteria.
Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
Req Driver's License (CA DMV)

The hourly rate range for this position is $55.12 - $90.95.
