The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.
REQUIRED High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification PREFERRED Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy/physiology and medical terminology. Previous health care experience. Work Hours: 7a -7p Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis On-Call Requirements: No
