  • FUNCTIONS: Collect and process venous and capillary samples from all patient age groups. Perform and document therapeutic phlebotomies. Document and record samples/results. Accession and process referral testing samples. Maintain records, files and route patient reports. Perform clerical duties as assigned. Participate and promote QA activities.

  • QUALIFICATIONS: Education – High school graduate or equivalent; formal phlebotomy training preferred. Work Experience – 6 months phlebotomy preferred. Training – N/A License/Certification – Certified Phlebotomist, CMA, EMT-B preferred.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with formal phlebotomy training and 6 months of experience preferred. Certification as a Phlebotomist, CMA, or EMT-B is preferred.
