We care about our team member well-being and offer benefits that complement and support your work/life balance Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Sonographer, you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care.Every day you will directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans. You will meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images. You will monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort, select and examine images for pathologies, and present preliminary findings to Physicians.To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills, sharp eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and advanced decision-making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data, ensuring optimal diagnostic support. Completes a comprehensive assessment on patients of all ages including patient screening and contraindications. Obtains pertinent medical history from patient by observation or with oral communication. Performs patient assessment to determine:

Patient’s physical ability to undergo the imaging procedure as needed.

What patient care is needed during the procedure.

If there are contraindications to performing the procedure as ordered. Job Requirements Required Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Breast, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Neurosonology, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OB/GYN, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Pediatric Sono, within 12 - months or Registered Vascular Technologist, within 12 - months Preferred Graduate of program of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) an approved Sonography/Vascular Ultrasound program that has been approved by (JRCERT) or A graduate of military program an accredited by JRCERT or a graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program. and

Requirements

Candidates must obtain a relevant RDMS, RDCS, or RVT registration within 12 months of hire. Preference is given to graduates of JRCERT-accredited sonography or vascular ultrasound programs.
