Prepare the cardiac catheterization lab for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, electrophysiology procedures, and other cardiovascular interventions. Operate hemodynamic monitoring systems and imaging equipment. Scrub and circulate during procedures while maintaining a sterile field. Prepare and administer contrast media as permitted by facility policy. Monitor patients throughout procedures and promptly communicate changes in patient condition. Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment and supplies. Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR). Adhere to all hospital safety, infection prevention, and quality standards.
