As an IR Care Assistant, you will be responsible for the accurate care coordination of inpatient and outpatient interventional radiological procedures and related outpatient pre- and post-procedural appointments.
As a successful candidate, you will: Be directly responsible for coordinating interventional radiological cases and outpatient procedures for the department radiology and all of the associated divisions Coordinate interventional radiological procedures with IR staff and patient to ensure patients are properly scheduled for all procedures and clinic appointments Schedule pre-op appointments; ensures all documentation is complete and the correct information is communicated and distributed to the patients in a timely manner
Requires a high school degree or equivalent and two years of experience in a medical environment. BLS certification is required, and LVN or similar patient care experience is preferred.
