The Substance Use Specialist is a key member of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) / ACT Plus multidisciplinary team and is responsible for providing assessment, treatment, recovery support, and case management services to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This position delivers person-centered, recovery-oriented, and community-based services that promote wellness, recovery, housing stability, community integration, and improved quality of life.
The Substance Use Specialist collaborates closely with participants, families, community providers, and ACT team members to support individualized treatment planning, substance use recovery, behavioral health stabilization, and successful community living.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field and a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) credential. Candidates must have at least four years of experience in counseling or substance use treatment and a valid driver's license.
