We are hiring a Clinic Nurse. The Clinic Nurse is responsible for assisting the clinic providers with examination, evaluation and triage of individuals who are participants in research protocols that are conducted at START. The Clinic Nurse uses appropriate professional judgment and decision-making in planning and providing care.
The hourly pay for this role is $60-$64/hour. However, base pay may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
PatientCare Perform telephone triage assessments of patients on trial. Provide patient education regarding participation in a clinical trial, chemotherapy/immunotherapy/investigational agent administration and potential side effects. Enter patient history into the Electronic Medical Record based on records received and the patient provided history. Coordinate patient care with internal and external staff.
Planning and problem-solving tasks Assist with prescription refills. Assist with entry and completion of quality standards for EHR/PQRS.
High School Diploma or GED. Licensed Registered Nurse in practicing state. 2 - 4 years of oncology nursing experience. Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel, Outlook and Word.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification. Clinical Trials experience.
