The PACU Nurse provides diligent care to patients before surgery and during recovery from general, regional, or local anesthesia. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering interventions, and providing essential pre- and post-operative education to patients and families.

The Pre-operative/Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU) administers diligent care to outpatients & inpatients via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment both on admission prior to surgery and phase I and II of discharge to home or transfer to an inpatient unit. Post-operative care includes the care of patients who are recovering from anesthesia, this includes general, regional, and local.
The responsibilities listed above are not all-inclusive; other activities may be required in support of the hospital’s goals and objectives.
• Pay ranges from $27.473/hour to $43.997/hour for an RN (rate of pay is based on applicable years of experience)
Hours: Monday- Friday 7a-330p with rotating call
