Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation required. Previous one year (1) experience required. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
