- What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
- Monitor basic health status and report changes to the Community Director
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to residents
- Lead or assist with engaging activities and social interactions
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, comfortable home
- Safely assist with resident transfers and mobility as needed
- Support a safe, nurturing environment that meets residents' physical and emotional needs
- Required Qualifications
- Current New Jersey CHHA license required
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift and support up to 75 lbs for resident transfers and mobility assistance
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP)
- Previous experience in memory care, assisted living, or senior care
