According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. Will provide a majority of care in the GI clinic with some inpatient rounding support No required procedures, but some inpatient rounding may occur A familiarity with pre-operative evaluations is preferred No required OR time Monday-Friday with some flexibility in scheduling. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
Must be licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant services. Requires licensure from the State of Illinois and the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration for prescribing narcotics.
