About the role

The Physical Therapist develops and implements rehabilitation plans of care to help patients meet their recovery goals. This role also involves mentoring PTAs, students, and volunteers while providing sensitive care to patients of all ages.

Bonus Amount: $10,000

Job Summary: $10,000 Sign on Bonus for external candidates with a 2 year commitment

The Physical Therapist plans and provides treatment to meet a patient’s rehabilitation goals.

You will develop and implement the physical therapy plan and establish a plan of care for patients.

You will advocate, communicate, and educate patients of all ages while showing competence, awareness, and sensitivity of their physical, emotional and sociopsychological needs.

This role provides a leadership opportunity as you will mentor PTAs, students, and volunteers.

Required qualifications

Education: Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Skills

Must know and utilize theories of physical medicine.

License: Current PT License in State of practice

Certification: CPR

Working conditions

Personal Protective Equipment: As required

Physical Demands

Majority of time spent standing, bending, and doing patient care treatments.

Possess physical ability and condition to handle patients correctly and safely. Be able to handle standard equipment that is in a physical therapy department.
