South Shore Orthopedics is seeking an experienced, energetic, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support one of our busiest orthopedic providers. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to effectively multitask while delivering exceptional patient care. The Medical Assistant coordinates clinical care activities to ensure efficient workflow, outstanding patient experiences, and seamless provider support. This role also serves as a clinical resource to teammates, adapts to evolving technology and workflows, and may assist with training and mentoring new clinical or office staff as needed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and experience in a fast-paced medical practice, with orthopedic experience and MA certification strongly preferred. Proficiency in electronic medical records and the ability to travel occasionally to the Abington office are required.
