Experienced veterinary technician or assistant: 📍 Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital | Bryn Mawr, PA

Are you an experienced Veterinary Technician who enjoys building relationships with clients, providing exceptional patient care, and keeping the exam room running smoothly? Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate, team-oriented technician with 2+ years of veterinary experience to join our growing team.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Assist veterinarians during appointments and medical procedures
  • Obtain patient histories, perform TPRs, and safely restrain patients
  • Collect blood and laboratory samples
  • Place IV catheters and administer medications and vaccines as directed
  • Run in-house laboratory diagnostics and prepare samples for outside labs
  • Educate clients on medications, preventative care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate medical records and charges
  • Ensure exam rooms and treatment areas remain clean, stocked, and organized
  • Assist with surgical preparation and recovery as needed (surgery experience is a plus)
  • What we're looking for
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on veterinary technician experience
  • Strong exam room and client communication skills
  • Comfortable performing technical nursing duties including blood draws, catheter placement, and laboratory procedures
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Passion for providing exceptional patient care
  • Bonus points if you have
  • Surgical experience, including patient preparation and anesthesia monitoring
  • Experience with Impromed or other veterinary practice management software
  • Fear Free handling experience
  • Interest in mentoring or taking on additional responsibilities
