Best Friends in Northwest Arkansas is looking for a versatile full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team. Our Pet Resource Center in Bentonville includes a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic that serves shelter and rescue animals along with community animals. We are looking for a Veterinary Technician that will help with our intake from shelters, assist with foster animal appointments, surgery, and provide great care aligned with our mission, all while rocking out in the clinic to the best jams! Our perfect candidate is caring, motivated, hard-working, a little scrappy, and willing to jump in to help where there’s a need. In addition, they have surgical experience and ideally experience with high quality, high volume, spay and neuter. Location: Bentonville, Arkansas
This position’s hiring range is anticipated to be $19 per hour to $20.80 per hour, depending on experience, plus great benefits!
This full-time role will follow a 4x10 schedule and the shift times are 7 am - 6 pm (1 hr lunch). Please be aware that it is a rotating monthly schedule (may include weekends depending on the rotation) so weekend availability is needed.

Routinely lift 40 pounds and perform daily strenuous activity including, but not limited to lifting, carrying, reaching, stooping, squatting, cleaning, and bending.
Perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time including typing, arm, and hand motion. Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
Exposure to and ability to safely and humanely engage with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and medical status.
Daily hours and days of the week may vary according to the needs of the department schedule; position includes weekends, nights, and holiday work.
