Life Medical is seeking an experienced and compassionate Mobile Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding diagnostic imaging team. This position is responsible for independently performing high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations in a mobile setting while delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable traveling throughout the service area while working independently. Primary Responsibilities Travel to patient homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare locations to perform scheduled vascular ultrasound studies. Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to: Carotid Duplex Studies Venous Duplex Studies Peripheral Arterial Studies Abdominal Aortic Ultrasounds Additional vascular studies as clinically indicated Obtain high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols and physician orders. Ensure complete and accurate patient identification, exam documentation, and image labeling. Upload studies promptly for physician interpretation. Educate patients regarding examination procedures while providing compassionate, professional care. Maintain ultrasound equipment in proper working condition, including routine cleaning, inspection, and reporting of equipment concerns. Adhere to all company policies, infection control standards, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy requirements. Complete required documentation and reports accurately and within designated timeframes. Communicate effectively with physicians, scheduling staff, nurses, facility personnel, and caregivers to coordinate patient care. Shift Availability Full-Time; Monday through Friday 8-10 hour shifts Per-Diem On-call shifts QualificationsQualifications Required Current ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) certification in Vascular Technology. Minimum of one (1) year of experience performing vascular ultrasound examinations independently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area. Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology, hemodynamics, and ultrasound imaging principles. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Professional, compassionate bedside manner. Preferred Experience performing mobile ultrasound services. Experience using portable ultrasound equipment. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Experience working in home care, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, or assisted living communities. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and transport portable ultrasound equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for extended travel between patient locations. Ability to work in a variety of healthcare and residential environments.
