Market context

California phlebotomy roles stay competitive

In California, assistant laboratory phlebotomist openings are often tied to steady patient-volume needs in hospitals and clinical labs, with evening shifts helping cover extended service hours. These roles are competitive because employers usually look for both phlebotomy experience and broader clinical laboratory background, plus a high school diploma and sometimes an AA or bachelor’s degree. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this page to save time, then confirm your phlebotomy and lab experience match the posting before applying.
