The Medical Assistant is responsible for screening patients, recording vitals, and administering medications. They also assist providers with medical procedures and handle administrative tasks such as collecting copays and stocking rooms.
Description Arrae Health is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our growing family!
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8a-5p Travel to our other clinics as needed
1.High school graduate or GED And or Current MA, EMT or medical equivalent training
2. Three-years medical experience in hospital or clinic type setting · Medical terminology · Able to prioritize and multitask · Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing the highest level of patient care · Follow HIPAA guidelines
Screens patients for appropriate information and enters it into the EMR system (i.e. vitals, medications, diagnosis and medical history)
Preform vital signs/ completes health concerns
Preform EKGs as ordered by provider
Preparing and administering of medications either IM or PO
Assisting providers with medical procedures
Stocking and cleaning of rooms
Checking in patents; collecting copays/deductibles and coinsurance
Other duties as given by office manager or director.
