Scope to Work Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations consisting of: Two-dimensional imaging, spectral and color flow Doppler, m-mode; trans esophageal; exercise and pharmacologic echocardiograms; saline and left ventriclar opacification studies on adult patients.
Instruction of medical personnel in technical performance, clinical application, and cardiac pathology as it pertains to cardiac ultrasound.
May act as a mentor/preceptor for other Ultrasonographers and/or students.
This is a Cardiac Ultrasound position; only RDCS, ACS, or RCS credentials are required.
Required associate’s degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent. Minimal as gained at student level.
