About the role

Provide recovery-oriented psychiatric rehabilitation services to individuals with mental health challenges to promote independence and personal growth. Responsibilities include supporting daily living skills, administering medications, and accompanying clients to medical appointments.

About the Role

As a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker, you'll work directly with individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and supports needed to live productive, successful lives.

  • Rate: $19.00+/hour
  • Schedule: Full-Time;
  • Monday -
  • Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (flexible scheduling available)

  • What You'll Do
  • Provide recovery‑oriented psychiatric rehabilitation services based on individualized service plans
  • Support consumers with daily living skills, medication education, budgeting, self‑care, and supportive counseling
  • Maintain a small caseload (4–5 consumers) while promoting independence and personal growth
  • Accompany consumers to medical appointments and complete daily van runs
  • Meet regularly with individuals in their homes, schools, and community settings
  • Build trusting relationships that encourage personal growth and success
  • Assist clients in overcoming barriers that may interfere with their ability to live productive and fulfilling lives
  • Administer medications in accordance with DPW standards
  • Respond appropriately to crises and support healthy relationships
  • Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with 2600 regulations
  • Collaborate with program staff while working independently as needed
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meals, and other hands‑on support as required

  • High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree with at least 1 year of experience in a human services‑related field
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Required Clearances & Qualifications
  • PA Criminal Clearance
  • PA Child Abuse Clearance (if applicable)
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists
