Licensed MD or DO Current and unrestricted state license Accredited Board Certification/Board Eligible (BC/BE) 1+ years of experience with VA Compensation and Pension disability evaluations with a knowledge of VA quality and timeliness measures Ability to obtain additional licensures based on business needs. This may include a compact license (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) ensuring compliance with that state’s existing Medical Practice Act Proven basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy as well as the ability to demonstrate organizational skills and multi-tasking Available to travel 50%25 or more for monthly travel assignments Proven ability to work remotely when not traveling to complete ACE and IMO exams or other duties as assigned Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
Certified VA Compensation and Pension Examiner Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs Military and/or veteran healthcare experience *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $238,500 - $392,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
