Provide hospitalist physician services on a 7 on/7 off schedule. Manage patient care using the Epic EMR system without the requirement to perform procedures.

JOB SPECIFICS 7 on/7 off schedule. Qualifications

Required qualifications

Education:

  • Doctorate
  • Licensure/
  • Certification: Licensed to practice medicine in current state Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges. Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

  • Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Requirements

Must hold a doctorate degree and be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty. Requires valid medical licensure in Illinois and eligibility for federal health programs like Medicare and Medicaid.
