Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and development of a therapy plan of care for inpatient acute patients
• Implement and modify PT interventions to improve mobility, strength, functional independence, and discharge readiness
• Monitor patient progress, reassess goals, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Document patient status, treatment provided, and outcomes in a timely, compliant manner
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to support safe transfers and discharge planning
• Ensure patient safety, proper use of therapeutic equipment, and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in coverage planning across two facilities, with schedules that may include one weekend day

Requirements

• Experience in inpatient acute physical therapy or equivalent setting (preferred)
• Ability to work a variable schedule across two facilities, with 3 days at one site and 2 days at the other (schedule may shift)
• Willingness to participate in a 26-week travel assignment with the potential for schedule flexibility based on coverage needs
• Availability to start on or around 09/08/2026
• Reference checks will be conducted via email per policy; phone requests should not be used
