About the role

Provide person-centered care by assisting residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and medication administration. Monitor and document resident health status, including vital signs, and report changes to the Registered Nurse.

Park View Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring dependable, compassionate Care Attendants to join our team! This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.

As a Care Attendant at Park View Assisted Living, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others. This is a permanent, year-round position and is not a seasonal role, making it ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others.

Position Type: Full-Time

Available Shifts (including every other weekend)

  • Evenings: 2:30
  • PM - 10:30 PM

Wage Range

  • $18.17 - $22.28 / hour depending on experience
  • Location: 613 Montrose Blvd, Buffalo, MN 55313

Care Attendant Responsibilities

  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
  • Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
  • Document services performed on computerized charting system.
  • Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
  • Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, and medication administration.
  • Complete light housekeeping duties.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Care Attendant Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
  • Previous care experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
