Responsible for setting up interventional radiology (IR) rooms specific to the study being conducted. Utilizes customer service skills while interacting with patients as well as family members to create a caring atmosphere during their visit. With minimal supervision, responsible for setting up for all interventional procedures in a safe and efficient manner, completing all associated paper and computer work. Additional duties may include work on special projects such as new equipment evaluations, resource manuals, assisting in the design of areas where clinical equipment will be installed, or assignment to departmental committees.

Candidates must complete formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and are preferred to have one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required certifications include maintaining current NYS licensure and ARRT Radiography Certification with CE credits upon hire.
