Responsible for all of the functions of processing tissue samples for histological diagnosis by a pathologist including grossing, embedding, microtomy, special stains and processing Immunohistochemistry slides.

An Associate's degree in applied sciences in Histology or Medical Laboratory Technology is required, along with NYSED licensure. Previous experience as a histology technician is preferred.
