Firefly at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is an outpatient treatment program for pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorder.
Firefly provides wrap-around clinical and behavioral health care as well as social support services, seeking to eliminate barriers to care so that women can enter and sustain long-term recovery.
Firefly providers and staff utilize a trauma-informed approach to care that combats stigma and strives to support each patient with their individual recovery goals. The multidisciplinary clinic is based in the Center for Women’s Health at Vanderbilt Health One Hundred Oaks, and has satellite locations throughout Middle Tennessee.
Clinical
Counseling (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate clinical counseling in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
Patient
Assessment (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient assessments in practical applications of moderate difficulty.

Leadership (Novice): The ability to show leadership and influence people of equal rank in an effort to accomplish team goals.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and less than one year of experience. Completion of Tennessee CPRS Training Part One is strongly preferred along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
