Responsible for providing patient care services, recording vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations. Performs standard x-ray examinations and manages medical records and clinic back-office duties.
Under general supervision, the Medical Assistant - NCT is responsible for providing patient care services, determining medical conditions, and preparing patients for examination and treatment under the direction of the Provider. The MA-NCT or Limited Radiologic Technologist prepares for and performs standard x-ray examinations, while using proper technique and positioning per provider orders. The team member will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, updating medical records, utilizing x-ray equipment, and notifying the imaging supervisor of any equipment issues. Additional back-office duties as assigned.
Prior Limited Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
Requires graduation from an accredited Limited Radiologic Technology or NCT program. Must hold a current state LXMO or NCT licensure and BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
