Purpose and Scope of Position
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Technician supports medication distribution for inpatient, emergency, and outpatient services. This includes managing automated dispensing systems, assisting with telepharmacy operation, and other functions such as compounding in a manner consistent with laws and policies & procedures to ensure 24/7 medication access.

• National Certification: Candidates with current national certification from the PTCB (CPhT) or NHA (ExCPT) will be highly preferred. Non-certified candidates may be considered with an expectation for fulfillment of certification prior to the expiration date of their provisional license.
