Description GECAC Area Agency on Aging Employment Opportunities Monday – Friday 8:30 – 4:30 (7.5 hours daily) Applications are being accepted for full-time positions in the Area Agency on Aging at GECAC for Caseworker positions for the Older Adult Protective Services.

Bachelor’s degree in sociology, social work/social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other behavioral sciences; and 1-2 years of aging casework experience, with crisis services or law enforcement experience preferred. Experience in the investigation and resolution of problems in a crisis.
Must be able to travel. Must have a valid PA driver’s License with full-time access to a private automobile and auto insurance as required by the Agency. Must meet Immigration Law requirements. Must provide Act 33 & 34 and FBI Clearances issued within the past 5 years before hire.
Budgeted at $23.67 per hour with an excellent benefit package.
