  • Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Job Summary Complete Visit Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to provide non-medical, in-home support services to clients under the Texas Medicaid Personal Assistance Services (PAS) program. Caregivers assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence, dignity, and safety in accordance with regulations set by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). Key Responsibilities

  • Living (ADLs), including: Bathing, grooming, and hygiene Dressing and toileting Mobility, transfers, and ambulation

  • Living (IADLs): Meal preparation Light housekeeping Laundry Shopping/errands (if authorized) Follow the client’s approved service plan and perform only authorized tasks Accurately document services provided, including time in/out and tasks completed (EVV compliance) Observe and report changes in the client’s condition to the agency Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA Ensure a safe and clean environment for the client Adhere to agency policies and HHSC regulations

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements

Required Compliance (HHSC Requirements) Clear results from: Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) Criminal background check clearance Must not be listed on the Office of Inspector General (OIG) exclusion list Completion of required orientation and training, including: Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (ANE) prevention Infection control Client rights and confidentiality Emergency procedures Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Signed acknowledgment of job description and agency policies

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in home care, care giving, or healthcare CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required) Reliable transportation (if travel between clients is required) Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 pounds (as needed) Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist with client mobility Ability to perform repetitive tasks
