About the role

The provider will serve as a first assist in endocrine surgeries and manage pre- and post-operative patient evaluations. Responsibilities also include coordinating treatment plans and managing follow-up care for patients with thyroid and parathyroid diseases.

Job Summary

Care New England is seeking a full time Endocrine Surgical Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our highly specialized practice within our Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery Program in Warwick, Rhode Island. This practice is dedicated to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of endocrine diseases such as thyroid cancer, benign thyroid disease, thyroid nodules, hyperparathyroidism, Graves’ disease, and adrenal nodules. You will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care.

Schedule

  • 4 ten-hour days
  • Job responsibilities include: OR 1stassist in endocrine surgeries Pre and post operative evaluations Outpatient clinic Coordinating treatment plans Work alongside a national leader in endocrine surgeon and collegial group of advanced practice providers (APP) Regular mentorship and collaboration amongst providers and the ability to be trained on ultrasound guided thyroid FNAs EPIC implemented system wide Interested in learning more about this opportunity? Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Certified by NCCPA or ANCC or AANPCB Active Rhode Island PA, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
