Job Summary

Care New England is seeking a full time Oncology/Infusion Nurse Practitioner to join our renowned Breast Health Center at Women & Infants Hospitals.

This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care.

At our Breast Health Center, we combine advanced technologies and a full array of treatment options including: mammography, breast MRI, surgery, genetic counseling and prevention, lymphedema, rehabilitation and survivorship programs.

Our integrative therapy services offer nutritionists, navigators, therapy dogs and support groups to help ease a patient’s discomfort and better manage their journey body, mind and spirit.

Join an established multispecialty breast health group, specializing in breast and gynecologic oncology care; prior medical oncology experience preferred Schedule: Monday – Friday days; no call Core responsibilities of Infusion Center provider include responding to clinical queries, patient assessment and monitoring, medication dosing, monitoring for adverse reactions, and providing education throughout treatment.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Certified by ANCC or AANPCB. Active Rhode Island APRN, RN, CSR, and DEA license or eligible. 1+ years of clinical experience in oncology, women’s health, or surgical care preferred Experience with chemotherapy administration and responding to toxicities related to treatment preferred
