About the role

The Clinical Navigator provides antenatal, neonatal, and postnatal support for mothers with Opioid Use Disorder. Additionally, the role manages research grant activities, including participant recruitment and data collection.

Job Summary

The Clinical Navigator, Family Care Unit (FCU) is responsible for the assisting providers in caring for mothers with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) through antenatal clinical/family support, postnatal maternal care, neonatal care, post hospital maternal and neonatal care. The incumbent is also responsible for participant recruitment, research protocol administration, reliability, and data collection for research grants for the Family Care Unit. Performs other job related duties as requested.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides antenatal clinical navigation and family support.
  • Provides neonatal care navigation and support.
  • Provides post hospital maternal and neonatal care navigation and support.
  • Coordinates the daily operations of research activities for Family Care Unit research grants.
  • Oversees the conduct and scope of study.
  • Coordinate and implements study needs.
  • Data collection and management.
  • Preserves and protects patient rights to confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required. Must have three to five years' experience in research related field; experience with children and families preferred. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet programs, and experience with statistics highly desirable. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be fluent in the English language.
