Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant that specializes in Oncology Hematology care to join our team at FPN Oncology & Hematology Specialists Lafayette [https://www.franciscanhealth.org/find-a-location/franciscan-physician-network-oncology-hematology-specialists-lafayette-219727] located in Lafayette, Indiana.

Candidate with 2+ years of experience is preferred.

What we need

Provider will ideally have 2+ years of experience in oncology and hematology care. Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

  • Clinic hours: Monday –
  • Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Flexible full-time schedule
  • Anticipated outpatient volume: 12 to 16 patients per day
  • Average inpatient volume: 3 patients per day

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree - Required
  • Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or -
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree and certification as either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required, and 2+ years of experience in oncology/hematology is preferred.
