About the role

The role involves performing daily quality control on digital equipment and assisting in cardiac procedures through scrubbing, x-raying, and monitoring. Additionally, the technician manages digital imaging transfers and ensures strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Essential Job Duties

  • 1.
  • Performs daily digital equipment quality control 2.
  • Performs assigned duties during procedures (i.e., scrub, x-ray, circulate, and physiologic monitoring).
  • 3.
  • Performs digital imaging and related procedures/duties (i.e., transfer of images to storage, copying C.D. and mailing to other facilities).
  • 4.
  • Maintains strict compliance with radiation safety.
  • 5.
  • Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
  • 6.
  • Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed an accredited Radiology Technologist program and possess at least two years of special procedures experience. Previous experience specifically in a Cath Lab is preferred.
